This
comic was meant to be a self published comic sold from local magazine stores
and online requests. Obviously that never transpired...
A
20 page, self-imposed (penciling) speed test, without a story to go by - quickly
turned into just a cavalcade of charactors. Years later I would finish it by
bridging it into another story. I'm sure you can spot the difference in the
artwork.
Short
stories (dropping the reader into the frey) are better than nothing at all,
right? Hence the 4 page generic super hero story. Incidently it's a hint at
a larger tangent story about The Thinking Man illustrating comics and other
medium for The Super Human Order of Canada.
It
features a short intro ala The Thinking Man's Idiocies.
Nature's
Advocate, featuring the character Green Peace Gal was a 4 page story for Bizarre
Comix - a collection of shorts from artists who had been regular contributors
to past comic sections in the U of C's newpaper The Gauntlet. As well Green
Peace Gal was injected into a story line of a few TMI comic strips.
