In
1988 I was in Halifax, NS with my father and that (huge) side of my family.
During the year I was there, I bought a regular red binder to mostly draw
in and also began journaling in as well.
Many
other hero designs for SHOC would follow, but Capt.Calgary would’ve
garnered the most attention – I had been in Calgary prior to or during
the ’88 Winter Olympics.
This
was around the same time I created Captain Calgary.
A
super hero who reluctantly joins The Super Human Order of Canada.
I
finally did retire the first red binder in March of 2001 but
The Red Binder Collection conitinues to this day.
